Abigail was formed in January of 1992 a. b. by Yasuyuki (bass/vokills), Youhei (drums) and Yasunori (guitar) being inspired by early Black/Thrash Metal bands like Bathory, Venom, Sodom, Bulldozer, Hellhammer, Nme etc. The first demo "Abigail Demo #1'92" was released in July of 1992 a. b. and in August of the same year they played their first gig with Sigh.
   In February of 1993 a. b. Youhei and Yasunori left the band. Nevertheless second rehearsal demo "Blasphemy Night" was released in March. In August of 1993 a. b. 7"EP "Descending from a Blackened Sky" was recorded by only Yasuyuki. This 500 limited 7"EP was released on H.S.B. Records in Holland and was sold-out within 1994 a. b.
   In June of 1995 a. b. Warmaster Records in Colombia released 700 limited split CD with Funeral Winds, which was again recorded by only Yasuyuki. Yasunori and Youhei came back to the band in February of 1995 a. b. and recorded promo tape '95, which was released on 7"EP by Of Gods Disgrace Productions in Canada in March of 1996 a. b. The debut full-length album "Intercourse and Lust" was unleashed in 1998 a. b. by Modern Invasion from Australia.
   In 1999 a. b. Abigail joined Necropolis Records compilation CD "Thrashing Holocaust". Abigail leaves Modern Invasion Music in late 1999 a. b. Then band have gotten new contact with Drakkar Productions (France) in 2000 a. b. Abigail played gig at Drakkar Hell Fest in France spring 2000 a. b. It was first gig in oversea. After band played big euro tour with Impiety and Decayed in November 2000 a. b. Response was great...
   In 2001 a. b. Bulldozer tribute split 7"EP with Decayed released on Italian Warlord Records. Band played France and Germany tour with Witchburner and Blizzard in November 2001 a. b. In January 2002 a. b. band played gig in Taiwan. The new mCD "Welcome all Hell Fuckers" was released on Drakkar Productions. MCD tracks recorded in France after euro tour 2000 a. b.
   Yasunori left the band in February 2002 a. b. Band recorded second CD "Forever Street Metal Bitch" in February-June. Guitar parts played by Shinichi of Sigh and Asuka. Also Mirai of Sigh played organ solos and session vokills. Asuka joined the band after second CD recording. Split picture 10"LP with Witchburner was released on Iron Bonehead Records in July 2002 a. b.
   Abigail going to first US tour in November 2002 a. b. "Intercourse and Lust" LP version out on Nuclear War Now! Productions. Split 10"LP with Barbatos out on Bestial Onslaught Productions before US tour. Second CD "Forever Street Metal Bitch" is released by Drakkar Productions in the end of 2003 a. b.
   Guitar parts were played by Shinichi of Sigh and Asuka. Mirai, also of Sigh, played organ solos and session vokills. Split CD with Korihor "Alkoholik Metal Blasphemers" is out on Hells Headbangers in November 2003 a. b. By June 2004 a. b. the band toured first south/east-Asia tour, session guitar played by Joel of Toxic Holocaust (USA). November 2004 a. b. the band played euro tour with Morrigan and A.N.A.E.L. Third LP "Fucking Louder than Hell" was released on From Beyond Productions. This is contained 7 new tracks and 3 Nme covers. Kurt of Nme played lead guitars on Nme covers. Split-7"EP with Sigh "Evilized Japan Vol. 1" was released on Schizo Schizma Records in November. Abigail released live CD "Alive in Italy" and split 7"EP with Front Beast in 2005 a. b.
